The rapier weaving machine is one of the most common weaving preparation machines in the textile industry. The core point is the consistency of warp tension during warping. If the warping tension is large, the warp yarns can be densely wound, and thus the thickness of each layer is small. If the nominal fineness and the actual fineness of the yarn are different, it means that the thickness of each layer of yarn is also different.
If the yarn is twisted, the degree of twisting also affects the thickness of the yarn. Moreover, the oil treatment content and dyeing color of the yarn often cause different friction coefficients, resulting in a difference in tension. Therefore, in actual production, the calculation of the amount of traverse is not easy, and there will be great changes, which will make it difficult to determine the production process.
If the rapier weaving machine does not have a corresponding measuring device, the calculation of the transverse movement of the warping is based on experience, but even if the fineness is exactly the same, if the oil quantity is different, the friction coefficient will be different, resulting in warping. Different tensions will also affect the difference in warping density, resulting in inaccurate calculation of the amount of lateral movement. Moreover, the nominal yarn fineness is the same, does not mean that the actual fineness is the same, generally there will be a difference of about 1~2%, so the amount of traverse should be different.
In the actual production process, the calculation of the traverse amount, or if the calculation of the traverse amount is found to be incorrect, whether it can be corrected in time, has always been a problem of confusion caused by the use of the slit warping machine manufacturers. The production of dipped and post-processing, as well as the production of canvas for rubber conveyor belts, the core requirements to ensure the consistency of the longitudinal tension of the canvas, does not allow tension differences.
